My story

Introducing Bailey! He was brought to the shelter on 3/4 because he was on a journey to find his way home. Bailey is only 4 years old and weighs a mere 83lbs. He has the sweetest face and a personality to match. He didn't seem to know how to sit but when you try to show him how to sit, he just snuggles up to get the butt rubs. We think we patience, love, and kindness, the right person/family will come along and adopt him to teach him all the great things he doesn't know. The volunteers describe him as sweet, cute, and obedient. He is so quiet in his kennel you would never know he was there. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 59; his ID is 8504. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Bailey is current on vaccines, neutered, and tested negative for heartworms; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Bailey is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for him forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
