My story

Meet Redwood, an adorable male Tabby kitten born in November 2024. Redwood and his brothers were bravely rescued from the harsh winter elements in January 2025, and have since discovered the joys of indoor life. Redwood may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but his affectionate nature quickly comes through. He absolutely loves being held and will serenade you with his loud, contented purring. Redwood thrives in the company of other cats and needs a confident feline friend to look up to and play with. He enjoys playing and and cuddling with his brothers and foster friends. He would be happiest in a home that is calm and patient, allowing him to feel secure and loved. If you have a patient and loving heart, consider welcoming this sweet and lovable little guy into your home. Redwood is sure to capture your heart in no time. Redwood is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
