My story

Meet Spring Garden! Spring Garden is a spunky, spirited young pup who's ready to bloom into your new best friend! At just 2 years old and 34 lbs, she’s the perfect compact companion for all your adventures. Whether it’s hiking trails, exploring new places, or chasing after her favorite toys, Spring Garden is always up for fun. She can get a little bouncy when she's excited and might jump up to say hello, but that just shows how happy she is to see you! Once she’s had a chance to burn off some energy, she settles in and walks nicely on leash. She’s also very treat-motivated and would love the chance to learn new things with you—training sessions will be a breeze! Even with all her energy, Spring Garden has a soft side. She loves to lean in for pets and snuggles, and she’ll quickly become your affectionate shadow. Brave, curious, and full of life, she’s the kind of dog who turns every day into an adventure. Think Spring Garden might be the one? Come meet this 34-pound ray of sunshine and see if she’s your perfect match! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
