Izzy (aka Felicity)

My story

Introducing Izzy! She is a 2.5 year old, 16 lb Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. Her formal name is Felicity, but she much prefers to be called Izzy! This little girl had a rough start in life, and she is still learning to trust people, but she has come a long way in her foster home. She now loves to sit in foster mom's lap, and she is allowed to sleep with them too. She loves playing with the other small dog in her foster home, and they run the fence line together. Izzy will do best in a home with another playful companion dog. She loves to play with toys and will collect them and play with them all day. Izzy came to us with a serious eye injury, so her eye had to be removed. This has not had any negative effect on her, and she actually feels a lot better. She has some allergies, so she may need allergy meds or shots from time to time. If you can provide Izzy with a calm, quiet home, please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.
