Philips leg was caught in an animal snare put out by unscrupulous people...he had to chew his leg off to survive, a moment that could have easily defined him. However, Philip chose not to let it overshadow his life. Instead, he demonstrated extraordinary resilience, using this experience as a catalyst for personal growth and transformation. Through physical therapy, mental strength, and the support of loved ones, he adapted to his new circumstances with grace. The Road to Recovery Recovery was neither quick nor easy, but Philip tackled it with determination. He learned to navigate life joy, embracing the new challenges it presented. His positive outlook and perseverance were inspiring to his handlers. Philip's journey was not just about physical healing, but also about becoming the best hound dog he could be. Ready for a New Companion Having reached a place of stability and comfort in his life, Philip knew he was ready for a new adventure. He decided to look for someone that loved Catahoula Hounds, a breed known for its loyalty, intelligence, and energy. Someone that wouldn’t mind his missing leg. Why a Catahoula Hound? A New Chapter Begins With You Philip is about 4 years old. He is dog friendly, people friendly and very smart. Philip is neutered and has all his vaccinatiolns. He is microchipped too. He is heartworm negative and on prevents. Philip is ready for a home with you!
