My story

Meet Bud! Bud is a handsome 4-year-old grey and white pit bull mix with a truly one-of-a-kind nose sprinkled with black freckles. This sweet boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, his affectionate and loving nature shines through. He’ll happily lean in for pets and belly rubs from his favorite humans. Bud is well-mannered on the leash (after he’s taken care of his business, of course!) and knows basic commands like “sit.” He’s a quick learner who’s eager to please and would thrive with someone who enjoys continuing his training. While Bud loves his human companions, he’s made it clear that he’d prefer to be the only pet in the home. He’s not a fan of meeting other dogs at the shelter and would much rather have all your love and attention to himself.
