My story

Hi there! I’m Venus, a gentle and loving Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as my fluffy coat. I’m a laid-back girl who absolutely adores soaking up the sunshine—there’s nothing better than lounging in a warm spot and just taking it all in. I’m happiest when I’m close to my favorite humans, whether we’re enjoying some quiet time or just hanging out together. I’ve got a calm spirit, a sweet soul, and lots of love to give. If you`re looking for a chill companion with plenty of cuddles to offer, I might just be your perfect match!Borrow a Buddy testimonial: `Venus loves to cuddle and explore her environment. She was amazing with other dogs and humans. She got a quick spa bath, had lots of treats, and got to play with another pup.`FOSTER REASON: Healing & Comfort- I`m currently healing from a liver injury that my vet believes may have been caused by my first heartworm injection. I`m now on some medications to support my liver as it recovers, and we`re taking a different, gentler approach to treating the heartworms. My foster should be comfortable bringing me in to see my vets at the SPCA for lab work until I`m ready for adoption!While I`m not available for adoption yet, I am available for foster-to-adopt!
