My story

Meet Matilda, a sweet and affectionate Pitbull Terrier rescue who is ready to find her forever home or a loving foster in Central Texas. This friendly girl has a heart full of love and is happiest when she’s by your side, soaking up pets and cuddles. Whether it’s lounging on the couch or joining you for a scenic drive, Matilda thrives on companionship and will quickly become your best friend. Matilda is an excellent travel buddy—she loads up into the car with ease and rides like a pro, making her the perfect partner for road trips and outdoor adventures. She absolutely loves to run and play in the yard, but what she enjoys most is simply being around her people. If you're looking for a dog who will happily stick by your side, Matilda is the one. She gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a furry friend to romp around with. One of her absolute favorite things is water—whether it's splashing around in a kiddie pool, running through sprinklers, or wading in a creek, Matilda is always ready for a wet and wild adventure! While Matilda loves playtime, she is also content just being near her humans, soaking up affection. She would do best in a home where she can be an active part of her family's life, joining in on hikes, park outings, or simply relaxing together.
