My story

This big, friendly fellow is Stantz! He arrived at the shelter on 3/3 after he was found abandoned at a Dollar General. Stantz is hoping for a new and improved forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Stantz as very sweet and curious. He loves treats and toys and he knows how to sit nicely when asked. Stantz is a bit overweight and could stand to lose a few pounds to look and feel his very best. If you have room in your heart and home for a new BFF please come meet Stantz! Stantz is approximately 4 years old and weighs 82 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and has been microchipped. He will be neutered and heartworm tested upon adoption. Stantz is waiting patiently in run 879; his ID # is 8480. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
