Meet Cade Von Catsby: The Shy but Sweet Little GentlemanName: Cade Von CatsbyAge: 4 monthsBreed: Domestic ShorthairColor: White fur with adorable black markings (which make it look like he has stylish side bangs!)Personality: Shy, Sweet, Playful, CuriousCade Von Catsby is a young, sweet, and slightly shy little guy who is looking for a loving family to help him come out of his shell. With his striking white fur and black markings that give him a unique look (seriously, who else has side bangs like this little gentleman?), Cade is as cute as can be. He's had some tough times on the street and came to us pretty beaten up. While he may start off a bit unsure of new things, once he trusts you, he is sure to be a loyal and affectionate companion.Personality & Likes:Cade is a shy guy who needs a little extra time to warm up to new people, but don’t let his initial hesitation fool you—he’s a playful and curious kitten who loves to explore his surroundings. He’s especially fond of treats like Churus, which help him relax and get comfortable. Cade enjoys playing with other cats and would thrive in a home with another feline friend to help him build confidence and feel more at ease.Cade is still learning to love humans, but with patience and love, he will grow into a wonderful companion. His perfect family would be someone who understands that trust takes time, but once he bonds, he will show his gratitude with affection. Cade is the kind of cat who wants to be around you, just on his own terms—and he’ll definitely reward your kindness with those sweet, gentle moments you’ve been hoping for. What Cade Needs:A quiet home where he can feel safe and secureA feline companion to help him build confidenceSomeone who’s patient and understanding as he learns to trust humansTreats (like Churus!) to win his heartA cozy spot to curl up and napThis cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cade von Catsby in foster, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
