Meet Mellie: The Sweet, Playful Kitten Looking for Her Forever Home!Mellie is a lovable, playful, and spirited 6-month-old black and white kitten who has made incredible progress since coming into our care. When Mellie first arrived, she was terrified and utterly untouchable, but thanks to the patience and care of her foster family, she has blossomed into a delightful, curious kitten with so much love to give.One of Mellie's most endearing traits is how much she loves the company of other cats. She’s a social butterfly at heart, and it didn’t take long for her to escape from her pet playpen (chewing through it in the process!) to hang out with the other kittens in the house. Her playful energy is contagious, and she is always ready to chase a toy or join in the fun with her fellow feline friends.Mellie has come a long way in her socialization journey. She now seeks out attention and affection from her humans, especially when other kittens are being petted. She’ll come right over and nudge you for some love and will purr away when you give her attention. Although she isn’t too fond of being picked up just yet, Mellie loves being petted and receiving head scratches—just watch her start purring like a little motor when she gets some attention!At night, Mellie’s affection truly shines as she curls up under the covers, resting her head on a pillow right next to her foster parent.
