My story

Victoria Falls, aka Vivi,  is a 3-year-old ragamuffin with a knack for stealing hearts. Though the first chapter of her life was filled with challenges, she’s developed a remarkable ability to adapt, trust, and find comfort in gentle companionship. Vivi has mild cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological condition that affects her coordination and balance. While this gives her a slightly wobbly walk, it doesn’t stop her from exploring, playing, or enjoying cozy naps in her favorite spots. Having lost some teeth during her time as an alley cat, Vivi prefers wet food and isn’t a fan of crunchy treats. However, she does enjoy soft, freeze-dried snacks that don’t require much chewing. She’s a quiet, patient companion who won’t wake you up for food or demand attention, but she’ll always appreciate gentle pets and a warm lap to curl up in. Vivi  enjoys hanging out with her human friends and tends to follow you from one room to the next, just happy to be close to you. She loves to be in the know, so make sure you chat to her often-- she’s really receptive to being talked to! She would do best in a cat savvy environment where she’s the main attraction and with people who understand her cues.  If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance cat who thrives on love and kindness, Vivi just might be your perfect match! Victoria Falls was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible. This cat has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia,  is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. Affectionately known as a Wobbly Cat, this disorder is not progressive or contagious, and doesn’t cause any serious health problems – she just has a distinctive, quirky (and honestly very cute) way of walking around. She sometimes trips over her own feet, but she gets right back up and keeps going! The Internet loves wobbly cats, so she has real viral video potential -- and we have lots of resources to help you get her setup successfully. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.March 19, 2025, 6:40 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Victoria Falls, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
