My story

I'm a very sensitive, worried boy who needs lots of time to get used to new environments. I keep to myself until I feel safe. Once I relax, I'm easily excited and I shred my toys with gusto. My favorite things are squeakers and cheese! I'll need a dog-savvy home with gentle people who understand my stress and go slow with me. Would you like to meet me? Ask about me today! Kids: Kids: 13+, very timid and quietly anxious, nippy in foster home, tries to play with people's hands Dogs: Very nervous, stiff and high posture, does not want to be sniffed, tries to mount and hump. Not a fan of face-to-face interactions; may snap if pushed. Very slow and careful intros with tolerant dogs. Learn more about Meatball: Meatball is very friendly and affectionate and charms everyone he meets. He is just 35 pounds, making him the perfect size for a variety of living situations. He loves relaxing and cuddling on the couch, but he's also an athletic guy who makes a great jogging partner. As a former stray, he is working on learning the ins and outs of home life, but he is an eager and fast learner. He's potty trained and treat motivated.
