My story

Male, 1 year old, 56 lbs Personality: affectionate, playful, goofy/funny, snuggler, eager-to-please, adaptable, easygoing, outgoing, and loyal. Meet Brent, a charming, energetic, and friendly dog that is eager to bring you unlimited joy! Brent enjoys nothing more than being near his favorite humans. He's eager to express affection, and his desire for attention will make you feel valued and treasured. Brent is house trained and working on crate training. This smart cookie already responds to his name and knows the word “sit.” He’s also a skilled fetch player who will return his toys for as long as you are willing to throw them! His silly attitude comes out when he gets the zoomies or passionately goes after his beloved toy. Brent quickly warms up to other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He will make your heart grin, whether you're seeking for a snuggling buddy or an outdoor adventure partner. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
