Beau Beau is a pint-sized bully mix with a heart full of love! He came to FMAR as a stray from Sumpter, and while we don't know much about his past, we do know he's the definition of cuteness with his stubby little legs and pigeon-toed feet. Though he carries a few battle scars, Beau's spirit remains sweet and gentle. Beau absolutely loves spending time in the yard with his handlers, always seeking affection and belly rubs. He's still working on his leash manners, but with his food motivation and some practice, we're confident he'll improve in no time. Despite his playful nature, Beau is not overly active-he's content with a couple of daily walks and a cozy spot on the couch for movie marathons. Beau has shown no reactivity to cats during his walks, but he is definitely curious about other dogs. He'd be happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard and someone who enjoys the simple joys of snuggling with a loyal companion. If you're looking for a sweet, low-key dog to be your sidekick, Beau Beau just might be the perfect match! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you would like to meet Beau Beau, please submit an application for him on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. He is neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250, which helps cover the cost of the medical care he has received. **Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates on their age based on the condition of their teeth. Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Beau Beau, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
