My story

Lola has been with us since June 2024, after being turned over by CPD in a cruelty case. Her past has left its mark — she has two documented bite incidents and a history of altercations with other dogs. Both bites occurred as redirection during fights with other dogs, with the most recent being a level 3 bite. Because of this, Lola must be placed in a single-pet home with no other dogs or cats. The Challenges (Honest Truth): -Has two documented bite incidents, both redirection during fights with other dogs. -Most recent bite was a level 3. -Highly reactive with other animals and cannot safely live in a home with them. -Needs careful management to avoid overstimulating situations around other pets. -Due to her bite history and sensitivities, an adult-only home is required. Why She’s Worth It: -Sweet, calm, and affectionate with people when not overstimulated by other animals. -Has shown she can relax and thrive in a controlled, pet-free environment. -Deserves the chance to experience love, stability, and safety after surviving cruelty. -With the right environment, she has the potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion. She needs a true unicorn home — one without other animals, where she can be the sole focus of her people. With patience and understanding, she will reward the right person with her trust and companionship.
