How this pet arrived: Derek was brought in by a community member on February 18, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Derek, a handsome boy with an adorable stubby tail searching for a loving new home! Derek can be a bit shy with new faces and places, so he appreciates some patience to warm up at his own pace. He's more of an independent spirit and isn't the biggest fan of constant attention, but as he feels more comfortable, you get to see his affectionate side and he enjoys gentle petting and hanging out near his people! He may roll over for some much cherished belly rubs! He would thrive in a calm, patient home without children, where he can feel safe and secure.
