My story

I'm so excited to meet you, my name is Gabbie! I'm a hound mix, and I'm 45 lbs of snuggles and love. Sometimes I am a little nervous when meeting new people, especially if there are loud noises or fast movements, but if you have a dog friend around that helps me to be more brave and comfortable. Once I warm up to you, I will want to sit in your lap and give you the best snuggles of your life! Here are a few facts about me:-Potty trained. I go sit by the door to let my foster mom know that I need to go outside to go potty.-Crate trained. I love my crate and often lay down in there for a nap or just to chill out. I spend time in my crate whenever my foster mom is away from home, but at night I sleep in bed with her.-I LOVE other dogs. I am playful while also respecting their boundaries. I really look to the other dogs around for guidance on what people are 'okay' and safe. They help me open up and be my silly, loving self!-Toys are my favorite. I play fetch in the yard with a ball, and also love to take all the toys out of the toy basket to find that perfect one to play with! Chew toys are my absolute favorite. I'm great at only chewing my toys and not chewing any household items.I've been in Minnesota for a few months while receiving medical care. I was such a good and brave girl during all my vet visits. Now that I am healthy and happy I'm ready to find my forever home! Could that be with you?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
