Hi there, I'm Howie - Your future best friend!I am a gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to be discovered. I'm a sweet, soft-eyed pup who may be a little shy at first—new situations and unfamiliar faces can make me a bit cautious. But give me a little time and a lot of kindness, and I'll blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion you could ask for.Once I feel safe and settled, my true personality shines. I am playful, silly, and love to romp around with my favorite toys or cuddle up next to you for some well-earned snuggle time. I am the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and will be right by your side through thick and thin.My foster family is working to help me get used to new people and situations. I go to work with my foster dad and hang out under his desk. People come by to say hello and some even bring me treats! If they are really lucky I will reward them with a sniff or lick.I will thrive in a loving, patient home where I can build trust at my own pace. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
