My story

Meet Roo, our adorable little sunshine! This very cute kitty loves to lounge on the couch, curl up in baskets, and soak up the sun. When she’s not napping, you can find her joyfully playing with her fellow feline friends. Roo is a chill cat who absolutely adores pets—her soothing purrs will melt your heart! If you’re looking for a loving companion to brighten your days, Roo is ready to bring warmth and joy to your home. She also absolutely LOVES getting churu treats from her human friends! Roo came to us on June 1st as a feisty, semi-feral two-month-old kitten, full of hisses and fear. Initially terrified of people, she needed patience and love to help her feel safe. With plenty of treats and gentle encouragement, Roo slowly learned to trust, transforming into the loving house cat she is today. She and her siblings have been with us the longest, often overlooked because they’re sweet brown tabbies who don’t demand as much attention as some of the more boisterous kittens. Roo’s journey from a scared little furball to a charming companion is a testament to her resilience, and now she’s ready to find her forever home where she can share all the love she has to give. Roo is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV combo tested negative. Her estimated birthday is 3/30/24. Roo would do wonderful in a home with one of her siblings Eeyore and Tigger or another young, playful kitty. She also LOVES our dogs so would likely do great in a home with dogs!
