My story

Meet Biscuit, an almost 3-year-old short-stack of a dog who’s as sweet as his name! Biscuit was found running at large by a rural animal control, and despite his tough start, he’s shown us that he’s a true lover at heart. This little guy may be "biscuit-sized" compared to other dogs, but he has a big personality and even bigger love to share. Biscuit’s favorite things include spending time with other dogs, playing with toys, enjoying delicious treats, and snuggling up on the softest blankets this side of the Mississippi. He’s got a cozy side that will melt your heart once you see him curled up, all content and relaxed. Unfortunately, Biscuit is heartworm positive and will be starting a challenging treatment in the next few weeks. That’s why Biscuit’s dream is to find a foster-to-adopt home where he can receive the love and care he needs during this time. A family who will support him through his treatment and be there for him as he gets back to full health would be just what this little guy is looking for. We don’t have information about Biscuit’s experience with cats or children, but we’re happy to offer guidance on how to do structured, slow introductions to both. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion to add to your family and you’re able to help Biscuit through his heartworm treatment, he might just be the perfect fit for you!
