Dutchess

My story

Meet Dutchess: Dutchess is about a 10 month old (as of March 2025) pit mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. Dutchess was dropped off at a shelter in Tennessee because her owners decided they didn’t have time for her. Unfortunately, due to no fault of her own, simply overcrowding, Dutchess found her name on the euthanasia list. We are so thankful we got to her in time. Dutchess is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Dutchess is very sweet, friendly and playful! Dutchess has been good with other dogs and has done well with every person, including children, that she’s met. Dutchess walks well on a leash and is crate trained. Dutchess is doing well with her house training and is almost there! We would love for Dutchess to have a fenced in yard to run and play freely. Dutchess is up to date on her shots and is spayed. Dutchess is currently being treated for heart worms but should be good as new in no time.
