My story

This adorable fella is a soft, round, delicious sweet potato…in dog form! Meet Rocky, a 15-year old, 23-pound Shih Tzu with a heart of gold and a zest for life. Yes, even at his age, Rocky intends to live life to the fullest. Great with kids, adults, the elderly, and other dogs, Rocky seems to get along well with everyone. Mellow and kind, Rocky doesn’t look for drama or mischief. All he asks for is some lovin’, a warm bed to sleep on, a few daily walks, and yummy food at mealtime. Not a tall order! Rocky is housebroken and is a total gentleman on a leash. Due to very occasional accidents in his dog bed, he wears a diaper when no one is home to watch him, and also through the overnight hours, but it’s really just as an extra precaution. Rocky loves going for walks, he is happy and relaxed outdoors, and he does all his bathroom business outside. Rocky neither sheds nor barks, and he travels like a champ. Wanna run a few errands? Wanna drive to a dog-friendly restaurant? Wanna go away for the weekend? Rocky would be more than happy to accompany you anywhere! If you say the word come or if you say the word snack, Rocky knows what that means. He appreciates routine and he is a very good listener. They don’t come much sweeter than Rocky. This golden oldie is just so thrilled to get attention and be cared for. How can you resist his charms? Wanna give this little old man the best retirement home ever?
