My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.A volunteer writes: As soon as I opened Sheep's kennel, I gave him some treats hoping to win him over... lucky for me it worked! He quickly gobbled them up, hesitated for maybe a millisecond then proudly walked to the front of his kennel to greet me. As I pet him he looked eagerly around the room and made several attempts to stride directly out onto my lap. He is proud and he wants you to know it! Anytime I would stop petting him he nudged his head more into my hand and I had to oblige. Sheep was brought to us after being left behind after an apartment eviction...
