My story

Meet Grape Jelly! This sweet and gorgeous 4-year-old Catahoula mix is as fun and unique as her name. Weighing in at 58 lbs, Grape Jelly is the perfect mix of playful energy and loyal companionship. She’s great with other dogs and loves making new human friends, but she’s not a fan of cats—and that’s ok, she just prefers her pack cat-free! Grape Jelly is housebroken, loves going on walks, and can’t resist a good play session with her favorite toys. Whether she’s romping with doggy pals or curled up after a fun day, she’s just looking for someone to call her best friend. She is heart worm positive, but don’t worry—we’ll cover the cost of her treatment, and it’s done right here at our shelter with our In House veterinarian. Heart worm disease is not contagious, and is treatable. This will not affect her quality of life, and most dogs go on to live a long, happy and healthy life!
