My story

Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi everyone! This is Sylvia! She is looking for a very special family to spend the rest of her time with. Sylvia was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago when she went in for surgery and some tumors were found under her tongue. It is unknown how aggressive the cancer is or how much time she has left. However, she is still full of energy and acts like her normal husky self everyday. She also came in with an injured leg, so she had her right rear leg amputated! Sylvia is a fun and goofy girl. She likes to hop around and play. She likes treats and loves her food. She will howl when she has to go potty. She is a bit unsure of new surroundings and sees her kennel as a comfort zone. She is potty trained and kennel trained and hasn't demonstrated any destructive behaviors when out and about in the house. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
