My story

Hello, we are Toby & Samantha, We are a brother and sister team that is searching for a new home, hopefully with you. We are 1 1/2-years old and are being re-homed. Here is our story. We were adopted as fun-loving kittens to a nice family who had a little, energetic little boy. I was comfortable with the little guy, however Toby was very anxious about him. He would run at Toby and make loud noises and say Boo or yell as sometimes kids do when they are excited. Toby thought the little guy was attacking him. The child would wake him up loudly saying 'Hi'. Toby became very reclusive when the little boy was out. The family tried to work with the little boy and Toby but it did not work. The family thought Toby would have a better life with older or no kids, and that is why we were returned to the rescue. Our best home would be without dogs. Dogs scare the us and small kids. Kids over 12 years old, or no kids please. We would do best in a quiet home. Our day consists of zoomies, sitting in cat perches or on the back of your couch near a patio to watch the birds and critters outside. We enjoy sitting by the patio door to sun ourselves in the morning. Once sunning has been completed, we are off for zoomies and wrestling. When done playing, I find people for cuddles. Toby joins in once he is confident the little boy is or will not be around. We will stretch out along your legs or in your lap for comfort while napping. We have been spayed and neutered, vaccines were just updated, and have been micro-chipped, an added benefit of adopting from Snow Camp. Apply to adopt online, by going to our website, Snow Camp Sanctuary, contact page, and scroll down. Then click the link that states submit online HERE, on the Snow Camp site, https://snowcampfurever.com/adoption-application or on this site, contact us. The rescue offers a two-week trial adoption to make sure we are a good fit for your home. If not, we will gladly take them back. An adoption guarantee! Their adoption fee is normally $150 each, but the rescue would like us to be in a hew home to settle in quickly so are offering a discount of $125 each, a $50 discount until April 30, 2025. In addition, the Hanes mall Pet Supplies Plus in Winston-Salem also gives you an adoption bonus of 15% off coupon off everything in the store as an adoption gift to set up your new kitty ( some items have larger discounts), too! What a deal!! If you have a quieter home and you are looking for snuggles and gentle play time with a pair of wonderful snugglers, we are the kitties for you....signed Samantha and Toby.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Samantha & Toby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
