My story

Nutmeg is the happiest, snuggliest, most outrageously lovable dog you’re likely to meet this decade. If you’ve been searching for a canine sidekick who’s equal parts road trip buddy, couch snuggler, and personal shadow, congrats—you may have just hit the jackpot. She’s got “go girl” energy and lights up like a Christmas tree when it’s time to go “bye bye.” Pop her in the car and she rides like a seasoned pro—no backseat driving, no drama. Just pure joy, windows down, ears flapping, life is good. This lady has manners, too. She’s 100% potty trained (yes, actually 100%) and will politely alert you when nature calls. She knows commands, walks like a dream after her initial 30-second “leash drag race,” and even goes into her crate like it’s a five-star hotel. That said, she’s also trustworthy when left out and has zero interest in redecorating your home via chewable furniture. Now, before you fall head over heels (and you will), let’s talk fine print. Nutmeg is a strong, independent bulldozer of love who occasionally forgets she’s not a lap-sized marshmallow. During zoomies, she may accidentally body check you out of pure joy, so she’s best suited for homes with older kids or sturdy adults who can handle the enthusiasm. She’s also a bit of a diva when it comes to roommates. Nutmeg is not a fan of other dogs, and would do best in a home where she can have her throne to herself.
