Felix

My story

Felix was surrendered to Country Acres Rescue in February, 2025. Sadly, his owner died and he was left behind. The original owner`s daughter took on the ownership of Felix for a short time. However, she could not keep him as she had several cats of her own. Unfortunately, HER animals did not accept Felix; Felix was great with them. After two weeks of trying to acclimate Felix into her group of personal cats, she called CAR to surrender Felix to our rescue. She told CAR she may have to dump him if we did not take him. Felix is about 11-years old and diabetic. He is very healthy otherwise, and his diabetes is managed by a pill given once daily - no insulin! CAR is willing to pay for Felix`s medication for the rest of his LIFE. It is very important to us that Felix find a loving, forever home - we do not want the cost of his medication to cause him to miss out on an opportunity to find a loving family.
