My story

Suki’s story began in a hoarding situation, where she lived as a neglected, undomesticated dog. Suki is now experiencing the warmth of patience and care of humans and a safe home. And wow, does she enjoy a good couch and a warm fire! While still a little shy, she is opening up more each day—allowing pets, enjoying brushing, and even trusting enough to be carried when needed. What Suki Needs: - A Secure Home: Suki is an escape artist, so she needs a yard with secure boundaries to keep her safe. - Patience and Understanding: A calm, patient adopter will help Suki build confidence and continue to blossom. - A Dog Buddy: A companion dog will help guide her as she navigates life in a loving home. - Continued Care: Suki has vision issues and may need surgery in the future.
