My story

Suey went on an ExPAWdition with Volunteer John! Let`s read all about it:`Suey and I enjoyed lots of fun time at the beach and touring Fort Monroe in Hampton for our expawdition this week. This young lady is a dream to hang out with. Suey jumped right into the backseat and was a perfect lady in the car, checking out the traffic and the goings-on during our travel. Once we arrived, Suey and I walked along the seawall to explore. She even stood up at the sea wall to check out the Bay and the ships sailing by. Then, Suey and I headed for what we came to enjoy...the Fort Monroe beach. No hesitations walking on the sand so she could get to the water...Suey laid at the water`s edge and made herself right at home. She enjoyed relaxing in the cool water to refresh from her walk. After our beach and snack time, we walked to the fort and moat to explore and then back along the sea wall. Suey is a great and accommodating walking partner. She didn`t pull on the leash and walked right alongside of me. After we left Fort Monroe, We stopped at Chik-Fil-A for nuggets and frozen custard...she wasted no time in finishing off her tasty treats...she ate like a lady. Suey is a super troop. She`s a bit shy at first, but opens up the more time she shares with her buddy. Stop by the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter in Newport News to meet Suey `in person` and schedule your meet & greet. Suey is sponsored by the Friends of PRAS organization as a Pick-Me-Pet...ask your PRAS counselor for details. You`ll fall in love with her immediately. Suey is easy going and a great listener. She`s eager to be your best friend. Suey simply wants to be with a loving forever family, in her forever home. Please allow her an opportunity to strut `her stuff.`Hello there, I`m Suey. I`m a bit of a shy soul, but don`t let that fool you. I`m brave and smart too. I`m just a little hesitant at first. But once I get to know you, I promise to be your most loyal companion. I`m gentle and mellow, perfect for those quiet evenings at home. I`m also very curious. I love to explore new places and learn new things. I`m very loving and I`m looking for an owner who can be patient with me as I gain confidence. I promise, with time, my love will shine through. If you`re looking for a faithful friend who will love you unconditionally, I could be the one for you.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Suey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
