My story

Meet Shyann – A Gentle Soul with a Heart Full of Love. Shyann is the kind of dog who quietly slips into your heart and stays there. With her sweet nature and calm presence, she doesn’t need to ask for your attention—you’ll just find yourself wanting to be near her. While Shyann may not present well in her kennel and be a bit vocal, don`t let that deter you from meeting her outside. The shelter environment can be stressful to all the dogs. Shyann thrives on connection and will happily spend her days close by, offering a soft nudge, a paw in your hand, or a loving look that says, “I’m here with you.” She’s loyal, affectionate, and always eager to please. Shyann walks beautifully by your side, checking in often as if to make sure you’re doing okay too. She knows “sit,” “down,” “shake,” and “watch me,” and she’ll gladly show off her skills—especially if there’s a treat and a kind word involved. Her gentle spirit makes her the perfect companion for someone who wants a true bond, one built on quiet moments, shared walks, and unconditional love. Come meet her today :)  Shyann recently met some social dogs at our shelter.  She was defensive and didn`t seem to want to make new friends here. It`s possible that if her new adopter were to do slow introductions over a matter of days or weeks, she may do well with a social, well mannered dog in her home.  To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
