My story

Meet Alfonso! A sweet, gentle boy who likes to take things AlfonSLOW! Alfonso has seen a thing or two, so he knows a thing or two. And what he knows for sure is: the best place to be is with people! Alfonso is the social type! He loves meeting people and making new friends, and he’s almost pretty sure he invented the hug. He didn’t invent the hug, but he’s definitely perfected his own style of handing out the best dog hugs you could ever experience, as long as you don’t mind handing out treats in return! Alfonso keeps things pretty low-key. He’s happy to casually explore the fenced in yard, or even better- go for a nice relaxing stroll around the neighborhood. After a nice relaxing outing, Alfonso is perfectly happy to find a soft place to lie down inside his house, where he can be close to both his people, and the treat jar! Come down to the Fredericksburg SPCA and meet this incredibly sweet, huggable guy!
