About Me: Hi, I’m Tater! A ruggedly adorable gentleman with a strong jawline and a rebellious ear situation (one up, one down... it’s a whole vibe). I strut around town like I own the place, collecting belly rubs from strangers and admirers alike. What can I say? I’m a bit of a local celebrity. Hobbies include: Rolling over for belly rubs like it’s my job Making dramatic eye contact while you eat snacks. Quality time (I’m clingy in a cute way). Culinary exploration (read: will work for kibble) My Love Languages: Food, You being near me while I nap. Did I mention food? I may snore. I may toot. But I promise, I’ll be the most loyal, flatulent little spoon you’ve ever had and I have learned a lot of good behaviors with my trainer @ace_pet_services. All I want is a forever fam who’s cool with a little background noise and a whole lotta love. More from Tater's foster: Is your home generally calm or more active and bustling? It's just the two of us with no pets so generally calm but I think he would actually benefit from having more people in the home (big family) or people who are regularly home (retired folks) How quiet or busy is your building/neighborhood (e.g., foot traffic, noise levels, nearby dogs)? Our neighborhood and our building is busy -- high rise in downtown BK. He's totally fine with the hustle and bustle outside and generally fine with the hallway noise in our building. What’s the general vibe in your home—routine and structure, laid back, etc.? We're definitely not wildly structured. Generally in bed by 10pm and up a little after 6:30. He's slowly gotten more relaxed about meals and now generally eats 4 half cups of food throughout the day when we see fit (ie before we are going to leave the apartment without him, after a walk in some puzzle toys for play time stimulation or after we've eaten dinner). What has worked well for him in terms of keeping him comfortable and calm? He likes to be skin to skin at all times and he adores his bed (big kudos to whoever gave him that). We also got reusable pee pads to keep up with the anxiety peeing he has which have turned out to be helpful in also giving him spots to lay on. IE we put his bed under my husband's desk during the day, a pee pad under my desk and one by the couch so he has a spot next to us from room to room. Otherwise he's incredibly calm for the most part. We do have a basket of toys from our dog that he loves to play with about once per day. He basically just pulls them all out of the basket and throws them everywhere and goes back to sleep - so adorable! He really is a low maintenance dog. Doesn't need to walk far, just wants to cuddle, eat and sleep - just don't leave him! ##2340277##
