My story

Heimdall is a resilient 2-year-old small-to-medium mixed breed with a soul as sweet as his name is mighty. This special boy came into the care of Paws Humane Society on March 18, 2025, after being found as a stray, badly injured and in urgent need of medical attention. With a broken jaw and multiple lacerations, Heimdall faced a long road to recovery—but he never let the pain dim his gentle spirit. Now healing beautifully, Heimdall has recently had the plates removed from his jaw and is feeling better than ever. Through it all, he has remained incredibly loving, calm, and trusting. He adores quiet cuddles, gentle pets, and the simple joys of human affection. His favorite pastime? Napping in cozy corners, where he feels safe and loved. Heimdall is also fully potty trained and shows his polite manners by patiently waiting by the door when he needs to go out. He's a low-maintenance companion with a peaceful presence, making him an ideal fit for a calm, loving home. Heimdall has endured so much and come out the other side with his heart intact—ready to find a forever family who can give him the care and love he so deserves.
