My story

This lovely lady is Annika! She arrived at the shelter alongside her sister/bestie, Katrin, on 3/12. They were lost, but no one has shown up to reclaim them. Both girls are now in search of a new, forever home where they will be loved and kept safe so that they never end up back in the shelter. They're shy, but sweet. You can tell they want to be able to trust. If you can offer them patience and kindness we're sure they'll gain confidence in no time! Both girls walk nicely on leash. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come meet them! Annika is approximately 2 years old and weighs 55 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Annika is waiting patiently in run 16; her ID # is 8703. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
