My story

Meet Cain! This sweet, laid-back guy found his way to our shelter after being abandoned with his buddies, Chester (A049080) and Casper (A049082). He’s an easygoing guy who loves to explore the play yard at his own pace, sniffing around and enjoying his time outdoors. Cain is calm on the leash, never pulling and always happy to stroll at a relaxed pace. He’s not super interested in toys, but he does enjoy a good treat and takes them gently, showing his polite nature. While he doesn’t know any tricks just yet, when it’s time to leave the play yard, he’ll sit automatically to have the leash put on him like he’s had some training before! He has a low energy level and is content to either be pet or entertain himself. He’s also got a little mark around his neck, likely from wearing a collar for a long time, which suggests he may have been someone’s companion in the past. Cain seems to be potty trained, making him an even easier companion to bring into your home.¡Conoce a Caín! Este dulce y tranquilo perrito llegó a nuestro refugio tras ser abandonado con sus amigos Chester (A049080) y Casper (A049082). Es un perrito tranquilo al que le encanta explorar el patio a su propio ritmo, husmeando y disfrutando del aire libre. Caín es tranquilo con la correa, nunca tira y siempre está feliz de pasear a un ritmo relajado. No le interesan demasiado los juguetes, pero sí disfruta de una buena golosina y las toma con cuidado, demostrando su carácter educado. Aunque todavía no sabe trucos, cuando llega el momento de salir del patio, se sienta automáticamente para que le pongan la correa, ¡como si ya hubiera recibido entrenamiento! Tiene poca energía y se conforma con que lo acaricien o se entretenga solo. También tiene una pequeña marca alrededor del cuello, probablemente por llevar collar durante mucho tiempo, lo que sugiere que pudo haber sido compañero de alguien en el pasado. Parece que Caín ya sabe ir al baño, lo que lo convierte en un compañero aún más fácil de llevar a casa.
