My story

Max is a cool, calm, and collected kind of guy. At about 6 years old, this sweet mixed-breed boy has a mature vibe and knows what he likes—treats, chill vibes, and doing his own thing. He was originally found as a stray and spent some time with our friends over at Paws Animal Services before coming to Paws Humane to find his forever family. Max is independent by nature but has a soft spot for people who respect his space—and especially those who come bearing snacks! He’ll win you over quickly with his soulful eyes and his “will work for treats” attitude. He’s spent time around some of our more relaxed canine residents and seems to do well in their company. A calm doggy companion could be a good match for him, but Max would also be perfectly happy soaking up the peace and quiet as your one-and-only. Max is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to head home and start his next adventure. If you’re looking for a low-key buddy with a gentle heart and a soft spot for snacks, Max might just be your guy. Come meet him and see if he’s the missing piece to your family.
