My story

Meet Dakota Denim - a special senior poodle. Despite his age and medical concerns, Dakota is a brave and curious soul who is still very friendly and full of life. Dakota is deaf and blind but he navigates his world remarkably well. He is a gentle and loving dog who adores spending time with people, meandering in the yard, and cuddling on the couch. Being deaf and blind, Dakota requires a very special home with few inconsistencies. He would do best in a quiet home where he can take his time exploring his environment and learning his way around. Dakota may be blind and deaf, but he is a very low-maintenance pet who is easy to care for. He is house-trained and he is up to date on all of his vaccinations. His blindness does make him fearful of other dogs and probably cats. He has sensitive skin that does best with a weekly antibacterial/antifungal bath. In addition, he takes is a thyroid hormone replacement pill. A 30 day supply costs less than five dollars. He enjoys his baths and takes his daily pill without any problem.
