My story

Hi, I’m Lady! I’m a super sweet and loving girl with big, round puppy eyes that are impossible to resist. I’m somewhat active, but I’m totally happy to chill out on the sofa, especially if it means I get some belly rubs! I absolutely love belly rubs and really any kind of scratches or pets—I’ll seek them out whenever I can. I just love love! I am totally the staff favorite if I do say so myself.I get excited and interested when meeting new people, and I’m always up for making new friends. As much as I enjoy being around others, I’m not a fan of car rides at first (I’m pretty heavy, so getting me into the car can be a bit of a workout), but once I’m in, I enjoy the ride. I’ve got a heartwarming personality, though I’m heartworm positive, so I can`t do all the physical activities that some dogs can. But I’m totally fine with that—I’m perfectly happy to relax and enjoy being with my people. I think I’d be a great fit for most families. I haven’t met small kids yet, but I’d probably be just fine with them as long as they’re not too wild. I’m strong but don’t pull much on the leash. I’d love to be in a home where someone is around most of the time, as I’m still working on being fully housebroken and I don’t really like being in a crate. If you`re looking for a sweet and easygoing companion, I think I could be the perfect match!
