My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Socks is a very friendly guy who loves to snuggle....with both his people and other dogs. He gets along great with dogs of all shapes and sizes! Currently, he lives with four dogs in his foster home. When the weather's nice, you'll find him soaking up the rays, enjoying a good 'sunbathe.'  Socks is crate trained, housebroken, and knows how to use a doggy door – wow, talk about convenient! He understands basic commands and responds well to gentle verbal corrections. Socks has mastered 'sit,' 'stay' (most of the time!), and even knows to 'move' when he's claiming your favorite spot on the couch. He loves chewing on hard bones and one of his favorite activities is digging through his toy box searching for treasures. He will happily amuse himself searching for "toy box" treasures. He also loves emptying the toy box! When you pick up his toys and put them back in the box, he's happy emptying it all over again. Socks is definitely a pup who is the best of both worlds. Because he's young, we are sure he’d enjoy being in an active home with lots of activities. He'd also enjoy spending time in the great outdoors camping, hiking and all that fun stuff!  His gentle nature makes him a perfect companion for anyone seeking a loving and adaptable furry friend and his youth makes him a wonderful companion for outdoor adventures.
