She was abandoned in California alongside her buddy, Houston, and the two were found wandering in a rural area, searching for food and water. Despite her rough past, Venus has retained her sweet nature and good manners. She is kind, gentle, and would do well in a home with respectful children. Venus thrives in the company of other dogs and would be happiest in a home where she has a canine companion to share her days with. She is ready to find a loving family who will give her the security and affection she deserves.
