Hi Everyone. Bella was a very young mama, rescued pregnant off the street. We were told she needed a multi-cat environment, and needs friends. She did quite well with our middle-aged male cat, cuddling and grooming. She is a sweet young girl, with lots of energy, and LOVES to go after feathery things. She loves being around people and getting skritches, but still isn't too certain about being picked up. She does not fight it, but rather stiffens up, and is getting better day by day. Shes got the sweetest little squeeky chirrup, and a big deep purr. She's a tree dweller, likes the top of the cat tree, takes her afternoon nap on a high closet shelf. She's a cuddler, I find her behind my knees or on my feet when I wake up, but right now she's not a lap kitty. She is chipped and spayed now, and pleasantly plump. Sadly, our male cat suddenly passed away, and the only cat left is our grumpy 16yr old female, who does not find a playful youngster amusing. Bella deserves one or more buddies to cuddle & groom. She likes to 'grab' in play fights, so older children would be best, although she's never broken any skin. She has NO desire to be an outdoor kitty again, she likes watching from the window of a warm house MUCH more. So if you feel like you can be that caring and loving purrent, please reach out to Dirty Little Paws Rescue at Dirtylittlepaws@gmail.comor fill out my adoption questionnaire. I can hardly wait to be part of your life. Adoption questionnaire: http://tinyurl.com/DLPquestionnaire Dirty Little Paws is a non-profit rescue in Southern California. We rescue from kill shelters and from the street, manage feral colonies, and promote TNR (trap, neuter, release). We need your help! Please adopt a pet from a Rescue. If you can't adopt, please foster. If you can't foster, please donate. At Dirty Little Paws our mission is to save the lives of as many cats as possible. We respond to daily emergencies, fully vet each cat, release ferals back into their colonies, rehabilitate some, make sick cats well, hold adoption fairs, educate the public, and place a strong emphasis on sourcing donations through events & fundraisers so that this work may continue.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bella, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
