Thelma

My story

Located in Kitchener, Ontario Microchipped, DOB: Jan 3, 2023 Thelma has had a rough start, but is a sweet young girl looking for a special home to come out of her shell. Thelma came to Toronto Cat Rescue from an overcrowded apartment where food and attention were scarce. Since being in foster care she has gained a lot of confidence, but is still learning to trust humans. Thelma is very curious, and likes to be near humans, but not touched by them yet. However, her lovable and kind nature will surely lead her to be a wonderful and loving companion with the right adopter. She needs a special human or humans to take over her socialization and bring out this loving nature. Thelma is extremely active and loves chasing cat toys. She also loves other cats and would really do best with another, friendly and cuddly cat. Thelma would love a cat to snuggle with, and then to play and chase when the zoomies strike. Thelma would not do well with young children. She needs humans with patience and a quieter environment. Thelma is learning to play fetch and to play with wand toys, both of which will help her expend her tremendous energy.
