Microchipped, DOB June 5, 2024 FIV/FeLV Negative Grandma is a 10-month-old kitten that is full of play and curiosity. At this age, Grandma would do well in a home that provides regular human interaction (adults or children). She gets along very well with other cats and is currently in an environment that has 2 five-year-old resident cats. At times, she will push / irritate the resident cats to play and be more active. She also likes to play alone with anything that looks like fun! Once she feels that trust with her human, don’t be surprised when she lies around your right hand as you try to move your computer mouse OR when she climbs / jumps on your shoulders to relax or head butt you for a while OR when she jumps on your bed and lies down on top of you to join you in sleep! Grandma also enjoys lying down in front of you while you walk so that she can get some extra strokes of affection! If you have mice in your house, I believe this kitten will find them all based on how ferocious she is to seek out and uncover any small moving object! This kitten has perfect litter habits. She is not declawed and does some scratching on furniture/rugs. Nail cutting has not been a challenge and she is comfortable with you touching her paws or giving her liquid medicines. Grandma is eating both wet and dry kitten food. Grandma has been diagnosed with a chronic upper respiratory infection. While the condition is no longer infectious, this condition can flare up with changes or stress. Symptoms will vary, but with supportive care and reduction of environmental stress, it can be effectively managed. The time is right for Grandma to grow/bond with her future adopter in her forever home!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Grandma, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
