My story

Meet Mitzi, a sweet and deserving tuxedo cat who has been let down time and time again 💔 She’s only 2.5 years old and has already endured three litters before finally being spayed last summer. She trusted her feeder, who promised to keep her safe indoors, only to be abandoned back outside. And now, with her feeder evicted today, Mitzi has nowhere to go. We cannot take her in until we find some kind of placement, even if temporary. To make things even harder, Mitzi is FIV+, but PLEASE don’t let that scare you! FIV is NOT a death sentence. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives just like any other cat! It’s only spread through deep bite wounds, meaning she can peacefully coexist with other friendly cats. She’s semi-friendly and loves the person who fed her. She even lets them pick her up. With a little love and patience, she’ll be an amazing companion. But right now, she has nowhere to go and is at serious risk. If you can foster, adopt, or help in ANY way, please reach out immediately! If you can’t help, please SHARE this post far and wide.
