My story

Hi, I’m Trixie. I’m 11 months old, about 40 pounds, spayed, and currently recovering from surgery after being found as a stray with a fractured femoral neck. Despite everything, I’m healing well and doing great in my foster home. I’m calm, affectionate, and playful, just a really easy going dog who loves being around people. I’m potty trained and sit by the door when I need to go out. I know “sit`, and I’m learning more commands every day. I pick things up fast and respond really well to positive training. I enjoy multiple short walks and daily movement exercises to help rebuild my strength, and I’m very motivated by treats (which I take gently). I love toys, lounging by the window, and even watching TV. I’m content to hang out quietly or snuggle up close. My foster mom says I’m the most perfect girl! I’m looking for a patient, loving home where I can keep healing and be part of the family. If you think we might be a good match, I’d love to meet you.
