Meet Harbour – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Second Chance 🌊🐾 Harbour came to us with his three siblings after their mom had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender them during a difficult divorce. Unfortunately, the place she moved to wouldn't allow dogs indoors. For several long months, Harbour and his siblings lived outside, neglected, severely matted, underweight, and with almost no human contact. Their spirits were broken — scared, timid, and unsure of the world around them. But we're here to change that. Since arriving in our care, Harbour has been on a journey of healing. He received a much-needed grooming in late March, and with every passing day, he's slowly learning that people can be kind, gentle, and loving. He’s gaining confidence and coming out of his shell bit by bit. 💛 Harbour is a sweet, sensitive boy with a heart full of potential. He’s starting to enjoy affection, feels more secure around other dogs, and is responding beautifully to patient, consistent love. With proper care and nourishment, he's gone from just 20 lbs to almost 30 lbs — a wonderful sign of his progress! 🔹 Harbour is: • Neutered • Up-to-date on vaccines • Microchipped • Heartworm negative • On heartworm, flea, and tick prevention 🏡 Ideal Home: Harbour needs a calm, quiet home with loving humans who understand the importance of patience and positive reinforcement. Another friendly, confident dog in the home would likely help him continue to grow. He’s not “just” a rescue — he’s a survivor who deserves a life full of warmth and kindness.
