My story

Ontario – Sweet, Snuggly & Ready to Cuddle! Say hello to Ontario, the sweetest little boy who just loves to be close to you! Whether it’s playing with his brother, Huron, or sitting on your lap, Ontario’s favorite place is right by your side. While he’s a bit more reserved when meeting new people, once he feels your love, he’ll shower you with affection in return. Ontario is a little smaller than his brother but equally playful and sweet. He is being crate trained, and would thrive in a home where he can either have a confident doggy friend to help him come out of his shell or be the only dog if someone is home to give him all the cuddles and attention he craves. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion who will be your loyal best friend, Ontario is the pup for you! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
