My story

STAR       (**BONDED WITH RAVEN PAW**) Female 1 year old Black (short-hair) 9 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines Star was pregnant and being cared for in someone’s back yard. They didn’t want her kittens to be born outside in winter, so she was brought to the PG County shelter, where she gave birth to four kittens. Sadly, only two of them survived. She is a very attentive mother and watches her babies closely. One of her kittens struggled for a while with his health and she became quite protective. Star is a black and shiny beauty! She loves a lot of attention and loves to sit and be with her people. She is quite happy being in one room, but she is now getting much more relaxed and comfortable with her kittens becoming more independent. Star is a friendly girl and also starting to meet-and-greet some of her foster cat siblings. Being still quite young to be a first-time mom, she is also very playful with her kittens and really enjoys their company. Her favorite things to do are basking in the sun, sleeping in a puffy, warm bed, and getting all the attention! She is gentle, snuggly and playful, and can’t wait for her forever home!
